CPAS event needs local child talent

Leach Theatre is looking to cast a 3- to 4-year old African American male for a non-speaking walk-on role in the final dramatic moments of “Ragtime.” Ragtime is a Broadway musical and part of the Campus Performing Arts Series that will be held 7:30-10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at Leach Theatre. It is a one night only performance.
This performance is part of the Little Coalhouse Promotion and is an opportunity for the community to embrace the production. There will be no rehearsal time, but the child must be available and commit to the performance date of Monday, Feb. 8.
There will be a short information audition and interview process before the final decision is made. Contact Emily Brickler at 341-6985 to sign up your son, nephew, grandson or other acquaintance for the part.
