Dr. Trent Brown, an associate professor of American studies in English and technical communication, was featured on C-SPAN 2’s Book TV discussing his recent book Ed King’s Mississippi: Behind the Scenes of Freedom Summer. Brown was featured on Saturday, Nov. 14, and Sunday, Nov. 15. Book TV describes the interview as follows:
“Civil rights activist Rev. Ed King provides commentary to a collection of photographs from the 1964 Freedom Summer. He speaks with American studies professor Trent Brown at the 12th annual Louisiana Book Festival in Baton Rouge.”
