Watch Book TV to see Trent Brown

Dr. Trent Brown, associate professor of American studies in the English and technical communication department, will be featured on C-SPAN 2’s Book TV this weekend to discuss his recent book Ed King’s Mississippi: Behind the Scenes of Freedom Summer. Brown will be featured at 2:19 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, and at 2:19 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 15. Book TV describes the interview as follows:
“Civil rights activist Rev. Ed King provides commentary to a collection of photographs from the 1964 Freedom Summer. He speaks with American studies professor Trent Brown at the 12th annual Louisiana Book Festival in Baton Rouge.”
