Passing of David Oakley

Dr. David Oakley, professor emeritus of music, died Thursday, Sept. 10. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Null and Son Funeral Home, located at 1010 Kingshighway, in Rolla. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date in Decatur City Cemetery in Alabama.
Oakley joined the Missouri S&T faculty in 1960 and retired in 1992. Memorial contributions are suggested to GRACE, the Russell House or the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be offered online.
