Missouri S&T’s International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Design Team invites the campus community to its White Nose Syndrome Symposium. The symposium will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. This year, the team is working on a project to combat White Nose Syndrome, a disease caused by a fungal pathogen that has been devastating bat populations in the United States since 2007. This symposium will include presentations by subject matter experts concerned with curtailing the spread and effect of White Nose Syndrome on bat populations and our ecosystems.
