TelePresence room to be upgraded July 27-31

Missouri S&T’s TelePresence room, Room 201-A of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library, will undergo equipment upgrading between July 27 and July 31. During this time, the TelePresence equipment will be unavailable.
There are a large number of meetings scheduled during the outage, and MOREnet Video Helpdesk will work with schedulers to offer alternatives for those meetings. There will also be some disruption in the areas where the TelePresence room is located due to the large amount of furniture and equipment that will be moved in and out of the room. Inconveniences will be kept to a minimum during this time.
When these equipment upgrades are complete, the campus will benefit from the easier integration with non-TelePresence video as well as the ability to add lower cost telepresence rooms on campus to further decrease travel time.
