The Lyric Live Theater will perform the comedy play “Honeymoon on Mars” by Dr. Greg Story, an associate professor of physics. The play tells the story of the first astronauts sent to colonize Mars. Performances will be held at 7 p.m. July 24, 25 and 31 and Aug. 1. Shows are free and open to the public, but donations appreciated for the performances. The theater is located at 117 1st Street in Newburg, Missouri.

“At intermission everyone walks down the street to the historic Houston House for dessert and conversation, then back to the theater for the second act,” says Story. “The theater is right across the street from the railroad tracks, so you can’t miss it. Please come have an enjoyable evening while supporting small town theater.”
