Beware of Rolla-area map advertisement scam

The Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce warns the campus community that a group named Hometown Productions is calling area businesses to sell advertisement space on new Rolla and Phelps County maps. The group is fraudulently claiming to be acting on behalf of the chamber.
This company may go by the name of Universal Productions, VAC or Hometown Productions. They are not working with the chamber and the chamber is not distributing these maps. For more information, call the Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce at 364-3577.
