Information Technology Research Support Services (RSS) will unveil and conduct interactive demonstrations of the new MinerBytes v2.0 digital signage system 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in Room 103 Curtis Laws Wilson Library. Content developers, administrators and members of the MinerBytes creation team will be present to answer any questions you may have.

For departments interested in exploring the benefits of digital signage, and for those participating in the MinerBytes pilot program, this demonstration will provide insight into an all-new, more capable digital signage system created by IT RSS. Upgrades include improved server side services, expanded and upgraded client side services, and an all-new user interface for content administrators. The system is easier to use, more stable, faster, more scalable and more secure. Deploying your message has never been easier, whether to just one department or to the whole campus.

Pilot MinerBytes systems will be converted to v2.0 beginning Wednesday, April 15. MinerBytes standard production deployments for non-pilot users will begin Wednesday, July 1.
