Bone regeneration seminar May 7

Dr. Lynda F. Bonewald, Curators’ Professor of dental and craniofacial sciences and endowed professor of dental and mineralized tissue at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), will present a seminar titled “Bone Regeneration Using Tissue Engineering Approaches” at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, in Planje Auditorium, Room 204 McNutt Hall.
Bonewald is one of the world’s leading experts in bone biology and mineralized tissue. She is also vice chancellor for translational and clinical research at UMKC and has served as president of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. The seminar is sponsored by the Center for Biomedical Science and Engineering.
