Career opportunities and employer relations (COER) will host a number of events this month. Students must bring their ID card to sign in to all events. The following is a list of events for April:
- Business and International Etiquette – 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, in Room 305 Norwood Hall. Students can learn business etiquette and how to research different cultures to help market themselves.
- Workplace Survival Guide – 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, in Room 305 Norwood Hall. Students can learn what to expect and how to prepare for their first professional job or co-op position.
- Job Offers: Negotiation and Navigation – 5 p.m. Thursday, April 9, in Room 305 Norwood Hall. Students can learn all the things to take into consideration when evaluating a job offer and how to negotiate a higher salary or other benefits.
- Co-op and Intern Send-Off Party – 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, in Room 305 Norwood Hall. Are you getting ready to go on co-op or internship this summer or fall? Then join COER to celebrate your new opportunity. You’ll hear from students who have previous co-op experience and get tips on how to make your experience more meaningful.
