Roberts to speak about insect flight

Dr. Stephen Roberts, vice provost and dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business and a professor of biological sciences at Missouri S&T, will present a seminar on insect flight from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, in Room 126 Schrenk Hall. The campus community is invited to attend.
The seminar, titled “The limits of insect flight: roles of development, morphology and experience,” will examine insect flight capacity, specifically its unequivocal experimental demonstration, the underlying mechanisms of aerodynamic force production and the effects of diverse factors associated with natural history.
