Prepare for the Career Fair

A resume is usually the first impression a recruiter receives from a student. Make sure students have the best resume before attending the Career Fair. Help students prepare for the upcoming Career Fair by having their resume reviewed by a career opportunities and employer relations advisor sometime during the following Resumazing dates:
Noon-4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, in the Havener Center atrium
Noon-4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, in the Havener Center atrium
Noon-4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, in the Havener Center atrium
Students can also learn more about power introductions and elevator pitches at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, in Room 305 Norwood Hall. Power introductions help students stand out in interviews or when meeting potential employers for the first time. Encourage your students to learn from COER how to create a powerful introduction so that they leave a lasting impression with their future employers.
