Missouri S&T faculty will meet with educational technology to discuss the current and future state of “clickers” on campus. Faculty input is needed for discussion, evaluation and ultimately the determination of how best to continue using “clickers” at Missouri S&T. The meeting will be held noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, in the Meramec-Gasconade Room of the Havener Center.

This session will allow all instructors to provide valuable feedback, directly impacting the outcome of what “clicker” usage will look like at S&T in the future. If you use “clicker” technology in your classroom, please attend this faculty review session.

Turning Technologies, the current provider of the TurningPoint and ResponseCard system on campus, is moving toward a cloud-hosted service model — as is the rest of the polling solutions industry. This change has a number of important implications for students and instructors. As technologies change, it is imperative that we ensure the needs of our students and instructors on campus are being met in the most efficient and usable way possible.
