Dr. Eddy Brace, research scientist in the developmental biology department at Washington University School of Medicine, will present a seminar on his discovery of molecular factors that encourage axon degeneration and synapse formation from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, in Room 126 Schrenck Hall. In particular, Brace has used large-scale screening techniques and whole-genome sequencing to understand how our nervous system is wired up and how it responds to injury. The campus community is invited to attend. For more information, email Jessica Pelc.
