Students are invited to join a panel discussion titled “Building Bridges: Connecting Across our Communities to Remove Barriers,” which will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, in Room 120 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Students can learn about resources that are available to help them deal with various situations, know that the community and campus care about them, and be able to better connect with the community. The panel consists of the following campus and community leaders:
Shenethia Manuel — vice chancellor of human resources, equity and inclusion at Missouri S&T
Rick Williams — Interim Rolla Chief of Police
Patti Fleck – director of counseling, disability support and student wellness at S&T
Christy Laughlin — Chief, Missouri S&T Police
John Butz — administrator for the City of Rolla
Andrew Careaga — executive director of marketing and communications at S&T.
