All Missouri S&T faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend the Strategic Planning Summit, which will be held noon-1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, and 3-4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A of the Havener Center.

Rising to the Challenge: Missouri S&T’s Strategy for Success is a comprehensive plan that guides our growth for the next six years and beyond. This plan, in its second year of implementation, is being held up as a national model and is attracting unprecedented investment in our campus.

Attendees will learn more about the plan, including where we’ve made tremendous progress and areas in which we need to focus to reach our goals.

During the summit, you can see a detailed overview of the plan and meet some of the people behind the themes, levers and actions. You can also learn about the first project that’s been funded by our Innovation Team.

The first day will be more detail-focused, and the second day will be more informal and celebratory, and will allow for focused discussions in small groups. The event is sponsored by the office of the chancellor.
