Attend a CIES seminar Nov. 10

The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies (CIES) invites faculty, staff and students to attend a research seminar 3:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, in Room 121 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Refreshments will be served. The following topics will be presented:
“Smart, Resilient Long-Span Structures,” by Dr. Grace Yan, assistant professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering, and “Large Strain Soil Consolidation and Consolidation-Induced Contaminant Transports” by Dr. Hefu Pu, assistant professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering.
