Psychological science; history and political science; English and technical communication; arts, languages and philosophy; and economics will host a research open house 3:30-5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, in Room 101 Humanities and Social Sciences Building. All faculty and staff are invited to the event.
Dr. K. Krishnamurthy, vice provost for research, will begin the event by speaking about the importance of interdisciplinary research. Then Dr. Ian Ferguson, vice provost and dean of engineering and computing, and Dr. Stephen Roberts, vice provost and dean of arts, sciences and business, will speak about the definition of scholarship. A hallway reception with hosting departments’ faculty will be held after the open house.
