Pilot ground school starts Oct. 13

Sign up now for Private Pilot Ground School to get a general introduction to aviation. The course, which starts Oct. 13, helps potential pilots prepare for the FAA Private Pilot and Sport Pilot written exams. Register online at privatepilot.mst.edu or call the Missouri S&T distance and continuing education office at 341-6222.
The 20-hour course will be held from 7-9:30 p.m. on Monday and Thursday evenings from Oct. 13 through Nov. 6 on the Missouri S&T campus. The fee for the course is $90. A textbook will be available for purchase on the first day of the course for approximately $13. The textbook fee will be collected the first night of class and should not be included in registration payment. The deadline to register is Monday, Oct. 6.
