Members of the campus community are invited to forums planned for later this month to discuss how future vice provost and deans for the College of Arts, Sciences and Business and the College of Engineering and Computing could be selected.

As guided by its strategic plan, Missouri S&T has a new academic structure with the College of Arts, Sciences and Business and the College of Engineering and Computing. During the past several months, faculty groups have been discussing changes to the faculty bylaws that reflect the addition of colleges and their leaders. There are several ideas about how this might be accomplished; however, it is an important topic that is worth a healthy and comprehensive discussion among faculty and with other members of the campus community. These forums provide a way to share your thoughts and suggestions and to contemplate how this important selection process for vice provost and deans supports our ability to achieve strategic plan goals. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Plan to attend one or both of the following meetings:

• 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center
• Noon Friday, Sept. 26, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center
