The campus community is invited to attend the 2014 Service Learning Symposium 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, in St. Pat’s Ballroom C of the Havener Center.
The symposium on service learning is a chance for the University of Missouri System and community partners to come together to learn what each is working to achieve and to build strong relationships. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Deborah Hume, associate teaching professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Hume is a founding member of the Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition and faculty advisor for the student group MU Stop Traffic.
Please RSVP to Dedie Wilson by Sept. 26. More information on the symposium can be found online.
