Patty Frisbee, director of new student programs, and Dr. Diana Ahmad, professor of history, will participate in Old Iron Works Days noon-5 p.m. Oct. 11 and 12, at Maramec Spring Park in St. James, Missouri. Frisbee, a 30-year veteran of the event, will demonstrate the classic American art of cornhusk doll making. Ahmad, a first-timer at the event, will tell stories about animals and pioneers who crossed the continent on the Oregon and California Trails. Come see them and the dozens of other participants and enjoy a great day in the 19th century. The event is located at Maramec Spring Park, six miles southeast of St. James, on Hwy. 8.
