Dr. Bih-Ru Lea, associate professor of business and information technology, was honored by the Midwest Chinese American Science and Technology Association during the organization’s annual symposium held Sept. 6 at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She was one of three scholars recognized by the association. Lea, who is also director of Missouri S&T’s Enterprise Resource Planning Center, was honored for her interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to teaching and research. “Dr. Lea is highly regarded as an education who has had significant impact on her students, not only in the classroom but also in their professional and personal life,” the MCAST said in a statement.
