New name for geological sciences and engineering

The department formerly known as geological sciences and engineering has a new name: the department of geosciences and geological and petroleum engineering, or GGPE for short. The new name reflects the broader mission of the department and incorporates one of the campus’ fastest-growing programs, petroleum engineering. For now, the department can be found at the same web address, gse.mst.edu.
