Watts to join in civil rights program

Dr. Trent Watts, associate professor of English and technical communication, received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to participate in a summer institute titled “Finding Mississippi in the National Civil Rights Narrrative: Struggle, Institution Building and Power at the Local Level.” The institute will be held June 8-27 in Jackson, Miss. Watts is one of 25 scholars invited to attend the intensive collaborative study.
