Toastmaster wins regional competition

Congratulations to Toastmasters International (Ozark Orators Club 1056) member Sudharshan Anandan, a graduate student in mechanical and aerospace engineering, for advancing to the championship of public speaking. Anandan is the first regional winner in almost 10 years to qualify for the championships, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He won the District Eight international speech contest of Toastmasters International on May 3 at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City, Mo.
