A reception and an open forum are planned this week for Dr. Stefi Baum, a candidate for the position of vice provost and dean of arts, sciences and business. Baum is a professor and director of the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science at Rochester Institute of Technology. Her curriculum vitae is available on the chancellor’s website.

• The faculty and staff of the departments that will make up the College of Arts, Sciences and Business are invited to attend a reception for Baum 3:45-4:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in the Turner Room of the Havener Center.
• The campus community is invited to attend an open forum with Baum 1:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, in Room 125 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Attendees will be invited to complete an electronic survey as a convenient and secure means of conveying their opinions on the candidates to the search committee. The link to the survey will be given out at the open forum.
