After reviewing numerous Learning Management System (LMS) providers, the faculty and student committee responsible for reviewing the current LMS have decided to recommend a change to Canvas by Instructure. EdTech will work closely with Canvas representatives to make the transition as smooth as possible. Current content in Blackboard will be moved into Canvas over the next few months. There will be two informational sessions today, Thursday, March 13, about Canvas by Instructure:

• 9 a.m. Thursday, March 13, in Room 120 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall, Michigan Technological University faculty will conduct a sharing session about their transition to Canvas. This will be a pre-session for the Teaching and Learning Technology Conference.
• 3:40 p.m. Thursday, March 13, in Room 120 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall, a Canvas representative will conduct a session as part of the Teaching and Learning Technology Conference. All are welcome to attend, even if you haven’t registered for the conference.
