In honor of Pi Day (March 14), the Missouri S&T communications department is hosting a pi recitation contest for current students. If you know a student who can recite at least 20 consecutive digits of pi, encourage them to brush up on their memorization and register for the contest online. The contest will be held 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the Havener Center. Participants will be recorded and a video of the event will be shared on Pi Day.

The S&T student who can recite the most consecutive digits of pi will receive a Raspberry Pi, provided by the Missouri S&T Bookstore. Other prizes include gift certificates donated by local restaurant A Slice of Pie.
