Funeral arrangements for Bennie L. “Leroy” Tipton

Bennie L. “Leroy” Tipton, former instructional laboratory coordinator in mechanical and aerospace engineering, died Saturday, Feb. 15. Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at James and Gahr Mortuary, 117 Seymour St. in St. James, Mo. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at James and Gahr Mortuary.
Mr. Tipton joined the Missouri S&T staff in September 1963 and retired in January 1992. His daughter-in-law, Shevawn Tipton, retired from the registrar’s office in February 2012.
