“Expanding Early Success” seminar

Join the office of sponsored programs for the research professional development seminar “What’s Next? Expanding Early Success” from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, in the Meramec-Gasconade Room of the Havener Center. This seminar for faculty who are seeking to bolster their grant-funding programs is being given by the MU office of grant writing and publications.
Mid-career researchers sometimes find it challenging to reinvigorate their research programs after earning tenure. New demands on time, administrative service and changes in the funding landscape can prove daunting. This seminar will encourage faculty to reconnect with their research goals to improve their grant-seeking success. The seminar will discuss common reasons why grants are not funded and provide strategies to incorporate in future grant proposals. Contact Steve Tupper at 341-6756 for more information.
