Tune in to KMST at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, to hear Missouri S&T’s Larry Gragg talk about the birth of Las Vegas with two other academic experts. “Betting on Hedonism,” a panel discussion about the birth of Las Vegas, was recorded before a studio audience earlier this fall by Actions Speaks Radio in Providence, R.I., and broadcast on WGBH in Boston. Gragg is Curators’ Teaching Professor and chair of history at S&T and the author of Bright Light City: Las Vegas in Popular Culture.
