Student Affairs reminds the campus community that Missouri S&T has a policy memorandum that provides guidance for the use of catering services on campus. Policy memorandum I-92 may be found online. The policy defines activities that are considered catering and provides the requirements for a vendor to cater events on the S&T campus. To provide catering services to the campus, a vendor must be an approved catering vendor.

The policy helps assure that food is safe for consumption and vendors adhere to local health codes as well as follow safe handling procedures.

Missouri S&T has a contract with Chartwells Dining Service to provide residential, retail and catering services to the campus. Chartwells is the exclusive provider to the Havener Center and in the residential facilities (Thomas Jefferson, Quad, Residential College and Miner Village).
