The Miner Alumni Association invites all faculty and staff to attend Homecoming 2013: League of Super Miners.

The Miner Legends Luncheon is noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. Some of our most distinguished alumni will receive recognition of “heroic proportions.” Tickets for the event are $20. Join the alumni association to help honor the following Super Miners:

Daniel P. Ellis, bachelor of science in civil engineering in 1999.
Bradley H. Hornburg, bachelor of science in civil engineering in 1969.
Jerry D. Parsons, bachelor of science in civil engineering in 1970.
Jennifer Pattershall, assistant professor of psychological science at S&T.
Col. John Pierre Powell, bachelor of science in aerospace engineering in 1987.
Karlynn Sievers, bachelor of arts in English and life sciences in 1996.
LeRoy Thompson, bachelor of science in civil engineering in 1956; master of science in civil engineering in 1965.
Kathryn A. Walker, master of science in engineering management in 1982.

The evening of Oct. 18, join the alumni association for the Silver and Gold Gathering starting at 5 p.m. on the Alumni Patio of Castleman Hall. Social hour is at 5 p.m., dinner is 6-7:30 p.m. then social time continues until 8 p.m. Tickets for event are $25 for adults, $10 for children ages 6-12 and free for children under age 6.

Tickets are free for the Kick-Off Tailgate Party for those who pre-register online or call by Friday, Oct. 11. Join the alumni association for an authentic tailgate party 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the alumni tent in the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building parking lot. Tickets purchased at the door are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and free for children under age 6.
