Suicide is the third leading cause of death in people aged 15-24. Counseling, disability support and student wellness (CDSW) is promoting World Suicide Prevention Day and raising awareness by encouraging all S&T students, faculty and staff to complete “Ask. Listen. Refer.” training at asklistenrefer.org/mst. This brief program educates community members to recognize warning signs, identify people at risk for suicide and get help for people who may be in danger of taking their own lives. Be part of S&T’s caring family, take 20 minutes to learn what you can do to help save a life.
