Missouri S&T student Jeremy Hinkemeyer, a junior in mechanical engineering from New London, Minn., died Saturday, Sept. 28, after attempting to cross the Gasconade River at the Wilber Allen Memorial Conservation Area in Wright County, Mo. He was 20. The university continues to offer counseling support for his fellow students. Anyone in need of counseling services should email counsel@mst.edu or call 341-4211.
