Dr. Greg Story, an associate professor of physics at S&T, will present a free physics lecture titled “Light and the Study of all Things Great and Small,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Meeting Room B at The Centre, located at 1200 Holloway. This talk is intended for a general audience and will describe how scientists have used light to understand nature from the atomic scale up to the entire Universe. The lecture will give the audience an idea of what physicists have learned over the last hundred years. Story is a 14-time teaching award winner.
