More street closures start Monday

The city of Rolla will close several streets near the Missouri S&T campus for resurfacing on Monday, Aug. 26. All cars parked on the following streets must be moved by 8 a.m. that day and cannot be parked on the street until resurfacing is completed:
- Poole Street from 10th Street to 14th Street
- 12th Street from Spring Street to Bishop Avenue (Hwy 63)
- 12th Street from Poole Street to 14th Street
- 11th Street from Poole Street to Asher Street
- Tower Road
- Elm Street, north of Bishop Avenue at the dead-end.
Weather permitting, rolling closures will occur through Friday, Aug. 30, on numerous streets between 4th Street and 12th Street and from Olive Street through all westward streets. Drivers are advised to look for posted signs warning of the closures.
