Beware of suspicious links

Only click on links in emails from trusted sources. Recently, several members of the campus community have been contacted by a company claiming to recognize the recipient in an article titled “Who’s Who in Local Communities.” Disregard these types of scam emails.
By clicking on unknown links, you may be taken to a site that seeks payment or asks you to provide them with personal information such as credit card numbers or bank account information. Unknown email links could also spawn a virus or other malware on your computer.
