‘Salute a Veteran’ blood drive

Missouri S&T Staff Council will host a blood drive from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. each day from Tuesday, June 25, through Thursday, June 27, in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. The blood drive needs donations of all blood types at this time.
To meet its goal, the Community Blood Center will need 40 or more donors each day. All donors will have the opportunity to complete a dedication card to send to a veteran or active duty soldier in appreciation of their service to our country. In addition, all donors will receive a special appreciation gift for donating during the event.
In addition to needing donors, Staff Council also needs volunteers to help in the canteen to serve snacks that the center provides to donors once they have finished the procedure. To volunteer, contact Mendy Kell at 341-7140.
