Staff Recognition Day is today, Wednesday, May 29, and will begin with awards, recognitions and a video from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. Live music, games, craft demonstrations and more will follow from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A free barbecue lunch for permanent full- and part-time staff members will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch is $7 for others. See this year’s menu. The event will conclude with the food auction from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
