Third annual Mining Industry Night

Join the leading companies in the mining industry for a night of mingling, dinner and short presentations at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in the McNutt Hall Commons. Each company will give a short presentation and most will accept resumes. Arrive around 5 p.m. to mingle with company representatives. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., with presentations shortly thereafter. Door prizes will be awarded to attendees. In the past, companies have given away ipads, ipods, e-readers and other miscellaneous items. The mining department will award five $1000 scholarships to attendees that transfer into the department. The mining industry hires civil engineers, geological engineers, geology majors and several other disciplines. This is not just for mining engineers. Contact Hannah McNally for more information.
