No Impact Week, organized by the S&T One Book Program, will offer a series of events and programs between Monday, April 15, and Sunday, April 21, all leading up to Earth Day on April 22. The entire community is invited to participate in and enjoy all the activities, including a freecycle and e-waste drop off, a book swap, Solar Village tours, planting the green roof, a film and panel discussion, free bicycle tune-ups, a farmer’s market, a water taste-test, a Master Gardeners’ display, several volunteer opportunities, and many more.
No Impact Week culminates with a public presentation by Colin Beavan, author of No Impact Man, at 7 p.m. Monday, April 22, in the Student Recreation Center of the Gale-Bullman Multi-Purpose Building. The lecture is free and open to the public; copies of No Impact Man will be available for sale at the event, courtesy of the S&T Bookstore.
