The Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, will be in formal session at 3 p.m. Tuesday in St. Pat’s B of the Havener Center for the swearing in of Judge Mary Sheffield Wray into the Court of Appeals. All members of the appellate court, as well as several members of the Missouri Supreme Court and the 25th Judicial Circuit, are expected to attend the event. The campus community is invited to attend the ceremony, which is open to the public. Sheffield Wray was appointed to the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, in December 2012 by Gov. Jay Nixon. She has served on the bench in the 25th Circuit since January 1983. This is the first time the appellate court has held a session in Rolla.
