Missouri S&T will host the nationwide Camp Invention program; an exciting summer day experience for children entering grades one through six, in two separate week-long sessions this summer.

University employees are eligible to register a camper for the price of $165, a $50 discount off the regular $215 fee. Children may attend the Geo-Quest Program, July 8-July 12 or the Spark II Program, July 29-Aug. 2.
Children will participate in four inventive modules each day including the always popular I Can Invent: Edison’s Workshop; where they will design and create their own inventions.
The Missouri S&T student diversity, outreach and women’s programs department will oversee the camp, and a staff of local teachers and counselors will lead the modules. Classes are scheduled each day from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Contact Melanie Wulff in the student diversity, outreach and women’s programs department to register a student under the employee discount at 341-4228. For more information on the program itself, visit its website. Staff wanting to utilize the discounted rate must register through the student diversity, outreach, and women’s programs department.
