Next ‘One Book’ selection announced

The One Book Program Advisory Committee has selected The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, by Rebecca Skloot, as the next One Book. The book will be taught in all sections of English 20 and in various other classroom settings from summer 2013 through spring 2015 semesters. Additional programming related to the book’s themes, including lectures, films and other activities, will take place throughout the two-year One Book cycle. The current One Book author, Colin Beavan, will visit S&T at 7 p.m. Monday, April 22, to talk about his book, No Impact Man, in the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building. Find out more.
