The Engineering Education Center (EEC) has relocated to a new facility located at 12837 Flushing Meadows Drive in St. Louis. The EEC shares the space with the UM-St. Louis West County Continuing Education Center. The EEC can now simultaneously deliver up to four lectures to distance students as well as to students on the Rolla campus and in St. Louis. New equipment makes it possible for the EEC to record and archive distance classes, making them accessible to students who could not attend real-time live lectures or who need repeated access to the lectures. Three technicians monitor lectures as they are delivered so that equipment or delivery issues are prevented from interfering with the quality of classes. The EEC delivers 20-25 courses each semester serving 400-500 students in Missouri and elsewhere.
