The student chapter of Engineers Without Borders at S&T is gearing up for its fifth annual “Run For Water” 5K on Saturday, March 2, at Queeny Park in St. Louis. The event gives students a chance to raise awareness and funds for EWB and engineering projects in Bolivia, Guatemala and Honduras, all of which have a potable water component.
Race day registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the run beginning at 10 a.m. All participants will receive a free technical running shirt with their registration and will wear an electronic chip, provided by Fleet Feet Sports in St. Louis, to record race times.
Early registration ends Feb. 22. Medals will be awarded to the top three participants in each age group.
