University Police to present on medical emergencies

Representatives from University Police will offer two presentations to the campus about how to handle medical emergencies. Both sessions will be held from noon-1 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 16 and Jan. 30, in the Missouri Room of the Havener Center. Topics that will be covered include an overview of the CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED), and first aid courses offered, basic steps to take in a medical emergency and how these emergencies should be handled on the S&T campus. A question-and-answer session with the CPR/AED/first aid instructors will follow the presentations.
